Account Executive:

Are you an independent worker, enthusiastic and goal-oriented?  The Iserv Company, a locally owned west Michigan telecommunications and technology company, has outstanding opportunities available for entry level Account Executives (full or part time) who are motivated by personal and financial gain.  This job involves face to face sales to new business prospects.  The position provides a base salary, generous commission and expenses.  Iserv will provide product sales training. 

 

 

Network Engineer:

 

Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ year’s relevant experience in Telecommunications and or Network Engineering required. Cisco certification of CCNP with a CCIE preferred. Central Office and Facilities based Internet Service Provider Operations and Data Center Infrastructure experience required. Experience with Cisco Cerent/ONS equipment and Fiber Optics a must. Exposure to broadband based delivery methods and DSLAMS a plus.

Job responsibilities include installation, maintaining and monitoring of all network activity of Fiber Optic Network, Central Office equipment and facilities. Experience with Cisco 7200, 6500, Cerent and 7500 series routers, DSX Panels, Muxes and other telecommunications equipment needed for data connectivity through telecommunications services such as Fiber, Broadband, VOIP, DS3, T1 services. Perform problem solving to correct network issues. This includes identifying the issue, suggesting resolutions and performing the actual fixes necessary to maintain the integrity of the network. Work within an “on-call” schedule structure that requires after hours support during non-normal business hours. 

 

 

Systems Engineer:

 

Programming background needed in Perl, PHP, Linux, Windows 2000, Apache, MySQL, and various mail and virtual mail delivery systems such as Sendmail and Qmail. Additional experience in Asterisk and VOIP solutions, IIS, PostgreSQL, Bind, VERITAS NetBackup, Network Appliance and Cisco a plus. Knowledge of Telco delivery methods such as DSL, T1, DS3, and OC level service delivery is beneficial. This is a multifaceted position within a dynamic environment. Customer communication skills, a service attitude and a reliable, hard working individual committed to delivering the best service possible will be required for this position. Work within an “on-call” schedule structure that requires after hours support during non-normal business hours.

 

Customer Service Representative:

 

Part-time Customer Service Representatives.  Qualified applicants must have technical computer experience, customer service experience and excellent telephone and typing skills. Duties include extensive customer service, sales and general computer troubleshooting.  Flexible schedules available.
