Configuring Eudora v5.x (PC)

Follow the instructions below to configure your email.  If you need assistance, please call Customer Service at 888.64.ISERV or email info@iserv.net.
  • Double-click the 'Eudora' icon (on your desktop)
  • From the 'Tools' menu, Select 'Options'
  • Select 'Getting Started'
  • In the 'Real Name' field, Enter your name as you would like it to be displayed
  • In the 'Return Address' field, Enter your case-sensitive email address (format "username@iserv.net")
  • In the 'Mail Server' (Incoming) field, Enter "mail.iserv.net"
  • In the 'Login Name' field, Enter your username (format "username" not "username@iserv.net")
  • In the 'SMTP Server' (Outgoing) field, Enter "mail.iserv.net"
  • Click 'Checking Mail'
  • The 'Mail Server' and 'Login Name' sections should be filled out automatically with the information entered in the previous step
  • Enter how many minutes you would like Eudora to wait before checking for new emails
  • Check mark the 'Don't check without a network connection', 'Send on Check', and 'Save Password' fields
  • Click 'Incoming Mail'
  • In the 'Server Configuration' field, Select 'POP'
  • In the 'Authentication' field, Select 'Passwords'
  • Everything else in this window may remain unchecked
  • Click 'Sending Mail'
  • The 'Return Address' field should show your previously entered email address (Step 2)
  • The 'Domain to add to unqualified addresses' field should remain blank
  • The 'SMTP Server' field should show the previously entered mail server (Step 2)
  • Check mark the 'Allow Authentication', 'Immediate Send', and 'Send on Check' fields
  • Click 'OK'
